Local Markets

Summer is on it’s way if the sunshine and thermometer are anything to believe, although the nights are still cool we’re currently hitting the low twenties and the sea is looking more inviting every day. This weekend a group of us hiked around the north of the island, up to the light house at Portinatx, on a trail that takes you way off the beaten track, across a secluded cove, then along a dried up river bed with cliffs on either side. The scenery was simply stunning and what better way to finish than by dropping into one of the many local markets for cake and coffee?Part of the charm of Ibiza are the local festivities (each town runs its own week of parties and events once a year) and the local market, which range from the famous Las Dalias hippy market, through to flea markets, and one’s like San Juan where local crafts are on offer. When you join us for your fitness, detox or yoga break, why not also take some time out to explore the local markets here in Ibiza?
