Start moving around more – not a workout but what we call NEAT – non-exercise activity thermogenesis- get up at regular intervals, walk around, take the stairs, walk more to burn more calories daily

Cut out processed foods – this will make a big difference. Focus on whole natural foods and ditch the breads, cakes, crisps, ready meals…

Learn your labels and cut sugar – You’re looking for the carbohydrates of which sugars part of the label. Anything over 23.5g per 100g or 23.5% is high sugar. Start reading the labels and bring your overall sugar consumption down

Drink more water – most of us are mildly dehydrated most of the time and our body can confused that with hunger, not to mention making us fatigued. Start tracking your water and aim for 2 litres a day

Get plenty of sleep – poor sleep and high stress spike your cortisol which encourages your body to hold onto fat. De-stress and get good rest
